Terms of Service

Last updated 7 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Sift, operated by Yagna Patel, a sole proprietor, at 87, 2nd A Cross Road, KHB Colony, 5th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560095, India (“Sift”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

What Sift does

Sift helps you qualify a list of creators against a brief, manage gifting and outreach, and track the results. You bring the list; we gather public information about those creators, score them, and give you tools to contact and track them.

Scoring is produced by language models and is advisory. It is a filter to save you time, not a guarantee about any creator’s audience, authenticity, or performance. You are responsible for decisions you make on the basis of it.

Accounts

You need a valid email address and, currently, an invitation. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in is by magic link. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You must be at least 18 and using Sift for business purposes.

Billing

Sift is $149 per month, month to month, unless your order says otherwise. Payment is handled by Dodo Payments; we do not see or store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate partial months. If we change pricing, existing subscribers get at least 30 days’ notice before it applies to them.

Some features consume metered third-party services. Where a plan includes a usage allowance, exceeding it may require an upgrade; we will not silently bill you for overage.

Contacting creators: your responsibilities

This section matters more than the rest. Read it.

When you send outreach through Sift, you are the sender. Messages leave from your own connected email account, under your own name and domain. Sift provides the tooling; it does not send on its own behalf and does not review your messages before they go out.

You are responsible for making sure your outreach is lawful. That includes:

  • Complying with anti-spam law that applies to you and to your recipients — including the US CAN-SPAM Act, Canada’s CASL, the EU e-Privacy rules, and any local equivalent.
  • Not removing, disabling, or obscuring the unsubscribe link or the postal address that Sift includes in outgoing messages. These are legal requirements, not styling.
  • Honouring opt-out requests. Sift records opt-outs and blocks further sends to that address from your workspace, but you must not work around this.
  • Having a lawful basis to process the personal data of the creators you contact, and responding to their data rights requests. For that data you are the controller and Sift is your processor.
  • Complying with the terms of your own email provider. Sending through a connected Google account is subject to Google’s terms and sending limits as well as ours.

Sift enforces per-account daily sending limits to protect deliverability and to make bulk abuse impractical. You may not attempt to evade them.

Acceptable use

You may not use Sift to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk mail unrelated to a genuine creator partnership, or any message that is deceptive as to who is sending it.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against anyone, including creators on your list.
  • Upload lists you obtained unlawfully, or that you are contractually barred from using this way.
  • Resell, sublicense, or expose Sift’s outputs as a competing creator database.
  • Attempt to breach the service, access another workspace’s data, scrape our interface, or circumvent rate and usage limits.

We may suspend an account immediately if we believe it is being used this way, or if continued use puts our vendors’ or other customers’ access at risk.

Your data

You keep ownership of the lists and content you bring. You grant us the licence needed to host and process it in order to provide the service. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how the product is used to improve it. This never identifies you, your workspace, or individual creators.

Connecting a Google account

Connecting Google is optional. Sift requests permission to send mail on your behalf and cannot read your mailbox. You may disconnect at any time from settings, or revoke access from your Google account. Doing so stops outreach sending; the rest of Sift continues to work.

Availability

We aim to keep Sift running but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you depend on materially, we will give you reasonable notice and let you export your data.

Warranties and liability

Sift is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your outreach, the lists you upload, or your breach of these terms — including claims brought by creators you contacted through Sift.

Termination

You can stop using Sift and cancel at any time. We may terminate for material breach, or for non-payment after notice. On termination your access ends and we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you need first.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sift after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
